Please comment here with questions, comments, and concerns regarding the way I portray Helga in fic and RP.
Critique is more than welcome, but it is best if offered with examples of what I'm doing wrong and suggestions on how to improve. I may not always agree and/or take the advice, but it will all be noted.
IP screening off, anon allowed. All comments screened.

The Road Not Taken (1) - for castmates
Oct. 2nd, 2010 | 01:49 am
Lieutenant Helga Sinclair stood alone, surveying the revealed Atlantis.
The armada had won, the princess and city saved. ...And she was likely the only person to ask themselves At what price?
Well. Atlantean lives had been lost in the battle, so perhaps a few others asked, but did her crew realize, truly, what had been lost?
Two hundred crew members were dead. The Ulysses was sunk. Almost every piece of machinery was destroyed. And a great man was gone.
Her breath caught in her throat as she bowed her head. The lieutenant slammed her hand against the intricate balcony before she leaned forward. She told herself it was the exhaustion and the stress. That was why every muscle in her body ached, why she felt so tired. Mourning? Certainly not.
He'd almost shot her. She hadn't needed Thatch pointing it out to know. She'd known the moment she got out of that truck. She'd known he'd shoot her in the back of the head.
He could have done it. Easily. But he didn't.
He hadn't shot her, even when she'd betrayed him. Betrayed everything they'd always believed in. Always stood for.
She clenched the balcony to try and hide the quivering of her hand.
